Michael Falk

is a professor of materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering and physics at Johns Hopkins University. His research involves using computer simulation to develop and test theories of non-equilibrium materials response on the atomistic scale. Most relevant to this program is work on shear-induced microstructural evolution in glasses. A list of publications can be found here.

Robin Selinger

is a faculty member at Kent State's Liquid Crystal Institute, and works in computational soft matter physics. Recent work includes computational modeling of shape-morphing liquid crystal polymers using fast nonlinear finite element elastodynamics.
